Bellringing at Compton

The Compton band is a thriving group which practises regularly and rings for Sunday morning services. It has a good mixture of very accomplished ringers and progressing learners and has reached the stage where it can accommodate a couple of new starters.

Bell ringing practice is held every two weeks, currently on Tuesdays at 10am. However, we realise that this is  not convenient for everyone so we can arrange additional practices at different times if required.

Ringing on Sundays is from 9.50am to 10.25am (Not 1st Sunday).

At the Guildford Diocesan Guild annual Striking Competition in March 2024, the Compton bell ringers achieved a commendable second
place, an excellent result out of a guild of 64 towers.
